DVDFab Virtual Drive
is a virtual DVD/Blu-ray emulator. It emulates maximum 18 drives and works with DVD/Blu-ray images created by DVDFab
and other programs.
The formats supported by DVDFab Virtual Drive are DVD, CCD, UDF, NRG, IMG, BUN, ISO and even MINISO, a file format specific to DVDFab Blu-ray Copy.
The images can be created by DVDFab Virtual Drive or by using other applications.
You don’t need to open the interface of DVDFab Virtual Drive in order to use it. The application is present in the system tray and you work from Windows Explorer. If you need extra information, just click on the tray icon and DVDFab Virtual Drive will display the mounted images.
If you right-click, a more complex menu appears, where you can set the number of drives, unmount drives, view images that have been recently used and have access to the application’s settings.
Apart from allowing you to work with it using the Explorer interface, DVDFab Virtual Drive makes things even more simple and fast by supporting shortcut keys for some commands.
In case you want to unmount all the up to 18 images at once, there is an option for doing this, too, so you don’t unmount them manually.
DVDFab Virtual Drive is a virtual image emulator which should satisfy any average user. It doesn’t allow you to apply very complicated settings, but it works just fine for the most common image formats, such as DVD ISO and Blu-ray ISO.
DVDFab Virtual Drive allows you to create virtual drives on your computer and to load a DVD or a Blu-ray immediately without using the physical disc drive.
