With Google Video Player, you can watch videos from Google Video Search directly on your desktop.
This player offers support for GVI and GVP files, it allows you to watch online videos in full screen mode and to browse using thumbnails.

Google Video Player has not been updated anymore since 2007, and the last version was 1.0.3.3.

Its main features included: watching videos from Google Video, resuming video downloads automatically, skipping to any scene in the video (even if the file has not been downloaded completely yet) and browsing scenes using thumbnails.

Google Video Player has a very simple and intuitive interface that even beginners can work with. The application streams videos from Google and it also allows you to search through the videos database using integrated search.

Google Video Player enables you to control the quality of the video and you can choose between three options: low, medium and high. Moreover, this utility can be used when you have a webcam or a microphone and it allows you to adjust their settings and use them with Google Video Player.

One of the main advantages of this application is playing GVI and GVP files, which few programs offer support for since they have been discontinued. These files are similar to AVI files as they are encoded in DivX4 and have an MP3 audio track.

If you work with Google Video Search a lot or you still need to play some old GVI and GVP files, Google Video Player can be extremely helpful.

Compact and completely free, this application will help you get the most out of Google Videos and apply various advanced options.
