Valex AC3/DTS codec VAC3ACM makes it possible for your favorite VfW application to play AVI files containing AC3 and DTS audio tracks.
Any VfW application is compatible with this compact codec.
Aside from AVI files, VAC3ACM also provides support for WAV files with AC3 and DTS streams.
The codec has not been updated anymore since 2006, and its last version, 0.3a, featured the following changes:
- recognizing AC3 files created with buggy encoders and disabling extended AC3 sanity checks.
