Your software is great, but do you think you could create a version for palmos, or a codec for other palmos programs? That'd be so great!

Installed Real Alternative, seemed to work fine. But later i find my computer now only reboots at shutdown. After un-installing Real Alternative i still have the problem. unable to find any answers anywhere.

After months of deliberating and reading the comments of satisfied and slightly dissatisfied Real Alternative users I finally took the plunge and downloaded Real Alternative 1.46.
I am more than satisfied. Real Alternative 1.46 in unobtrusive and at last I can listen to rm and ra files.
I highly recommend this software.

Good alternative to the adware loaded Real One Player, but it stops the screen saver from working (necessary for security) in Windows 2000. Can anyone help ?

With the genuine (ugh!) Real Player (RP) I could not play films/TV my ISP offers, zilch happened, then serendipity struck, I read the reviews on the alternative, dumped RP and installed the alternative - result, ****** amazing, all going great now. Ditto with BBC London who have a Henry Ford policy here, Real Player or nothing for both TV & Radio, they now both coming in 5/5 - well done version 1.46 - Mick

Despite reinstalling and restarting, Opera 8.5 does not see a RM or compatible plugin :(

To all the ones complaining about wmp, media player classic etc.:
This is just the codec ppl, nobody cares what player you use!

Its good, but WMP still says it cant open the files and yes I have saved the .rm files to my disk (streaming doesnt work). The files work in the media player provided, but I like to keep everything simple in wmp. Can anyone help?

I've been using media player classic for years, from sourceforge, and it's a good product. But after installing the latest version (1.44)from this site, I have the following problem: it crashes my wireless network every time it opens. It did this on my windows 2000 and windows xp computers. Worse, I tried uninstalling and installing the older version; and even going back to real player (yuk) - problem persists. Obviously it's modified something in my system that is not fixed by the uninstall. Has anyone else had this problem? Suggestions how to fix?
