BergWave 20040711

1 from 1 Reviews

BergWave performs video encoding and decoding using a wavelet method.

You can install this tool to your computer by extracting files from the bw20040711.zip archive, doing a right click on the vfwbw.inf file and selecting Install.

Even if you are warned by a prompt saying that the software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo Testing, ignore the message and click on the Continue Anyway button.

There are three components in the BergWave pack: a video encoding/decoding library called libbw, a simple example program (test) and VfW, the Video for Windows interface.

Some of BergWave’s characteristics are: working in yv12 colorspace, color conversion options and marking the frame end with a null object.

BergWave does not provide support for delta frames.

Values are coded using rice encoding and every frame has n objects such as motion vectors and wavelet image.

When opening the vfwbw.inf file to install ...a notepad opens instead of installing the program :(
