I still use this in fact ive confiugured my installs to always use this & I recommend this to all my friends due to its advanced confuguration abilities & advanced sound.

I really hope this will be the solution , even MP4 Videos I downloaded from YouTube; play with no sound and output file doesn't go to the Target Output Folder (!?) I know that's not your fault :)

I downloaded DivX for MKV files, but it needs an extra codec for sound filter AC3, so I found this, downloaded it and works excellent!

So easy, my divx said i needed ac3 software, i downloaded this and restarted the video and hey presto, I have sound. Nothing else to it

Awesome. Had a problem with Divx saying that the video file requires AC3 audio and after installing this into my computer I didn't had to do anything but restart the video and it works.
