MPC Batch Encoder allows you to encode and decode audio files and to create tags. It is a frontend for MusePack Encoder and Decoder, for Tag and for ReplayGain.
One of the most interesting features of this application is adjusting volume levels between different audio tracks during playback; not all music files have been mastered at the same loudness level and the ReplayGain process makes it possible to adjust volumes at a similar level for all tracks.

MPC Batch Encoder has not been updated anymore for a long time and its interface is old-fashioned.

Nevertheless, the application is intuitive and easy to use by anyone. It provides you with a simple way of using utilities which otherwise are only available as command-line programs.

MPC Batch Encoder is still efficient and worth using, in spite of its outdated look and lack of upgrades.

If you get an error when you try to run MPC Batch Encoder you need one (or maybe both) of the following files, depending on the error message:
Visual Basic 6 Runtime files
mscomctl.ocx

Changes to MPC Batch Encoder 2.3.1:

- Fixed a bug that made the 'Output directory' frame of the decoder visible directly after starting the frontend (while the encoder 'Output directory' frame should be visible). Please update if you have version 2.3.
