The HandBrake team has released version 1.10.1, bringing important fixes and improvements across platforms.

This update resolves x265 visual corruption issues and fixes problems with SVT-AV1 presets when using SSIM tuning.

The release also updates the HarfBuzz library for smoother subtitle rendering.

On Linux, Flatpak users get restored preview audio and more reliable Vorbis passthrough handling.

macOS gains improved validation for custom border colors, while Windows users can now enjoy a new Romanian translation, fixes for ARM64 builds, and better audio track naming.

The developers recommend clearing pending encode jobs and backing up presets before upgrading.

Windows users must also ensure that .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0 is installed.

This release fine-tunes the encoding experience, making HandBrake more stable and user-friendly for all.
