Installing Equalizer APO
Download Equalizer APO and Run the Installer
Open the downloaded file and follow the instructions.
During installation, you'll be prompted to select the audio device(s) you want to modify. Ensure you pick the correct one(s), such as headphones or speakers.
Installing Peace Equalizer
Download Peace Equalizer and Move Peace64.exe to the Config Folder
After downloading, locate Peace64.exe and move it to the config folder within the Equalizer APO installation directory. Typically, this is found at:
C:\Program Files\EqualizerAPO\config
The 32-bit version (Peace.exe) will already be in this folder, but using the 64-bit version provides some additional convenience (covered later).

Double-click Peace64.exe in the Equalizer APO config folder to start the program. If everything was installed correctly, Peace will open without errors.

Key Features and Notes
64-Bit Peace Equalizer: Benefits and Known Issues
Taskbar Icon: One key benefit of using the 64-bit version of Peace is that it displays the configuration icon on the taskbar for quick access. The 32-bit version, by contrast, only shows this icon in the system tray (notification area) and in the top-left corner of the Peace window.
Startup Shortcut Issue: There’s a known quirk with the 64-bit version when creating a shortcut in the Windows startup folder.
The shortcut may incorrectly appear in:
C:\Program Files (x86)
instead of the expected 64-bit directory:
C:\Program Files
This does not affect functionality but may cause confusion.
Why Use Equalizer APO and Peace?
Equalizer APO and Peace Equalizer give you complete control over your audio settings on Windows.
This combination provides the tools you need to adjust for better clarity in speech, create a richer music experience, or fine-tune your sound for gaming.
