A new version comes out almost every week, but there's nothing substantial to it. It's an outdated format.

It's true that it compresses a little better than FLAC. However, it is much slower than FLAC.

Hey there! It works fine on Windows 10.
The “kernel missing” error likely isn’t caused by the software itself - it just means your system can’t find some required core files to complete the installation.

The only advantage over popular FLAC that MAC files are
~2% smaller in side.
And there's a cost: MAC is very slow and less supported.
If you need small size no matter of speed, use OptimFrog which is also less supported by soft/hardware.
