Thought I might dispell some of the bad reviews, I have not gotten ANY viruses, and I am very impressed by this codec pack, it is the most comprehensive pack I have found yet, includes everything I need and sets it all up nicely, there should be no reason you need to uninstall it

Good idea, but wouldn't play larger files without skipping.

Also, does anyone remember when Quictime Alternative used to allow audio extraction from .mov files? Where did that feature go?

With my Windows 98 machine, this works great for me. No problems streaming either with this version, no freezing, I'm absolutely happy.

yuval: this is problem of your computer and not this pack. This Codecpack dont install suport for MP3. If you have problem with mp3, you must install or uninstall something else

After installation media player don't play anymore any mp3 or movies with mpeg-1 layer 3 codec! uninstalling of this package, as well as re-installing of media player, didn't help. Is this package a virus? spyware?

I has to try a few time before a real media actually play, if not i can just hear the sound with the screen freeze at the starting scene.

Сhangelog of the version 1.30 is absolutely similar to the version 1.31.
About what new version in general there can in such case be a speech?
