you must use delete value on uninstall in
HKLM...WindowsNt...Drivers and Drivers desc keys
because when codec pack is uninstalled package removes all codecs

however i see you updated QuickTime Alternative to version 1.68 and it seems to me codec pack V1.48 acts not friendly to quicktime movies. it plays the movie in a way that jumps from one or several frames to another without sound.

So I jumped thru all the hoops installing this because it says it would play DVD on WMP. Alas - it doesn't!!! Now I gotta uninstall this crap and re-install the correct codecs again - sheesh!

Anyone else had a problem with Windows Media Player after installing this pack?
I now have a whopping great blank spot at the bottom of the display area. Almost like it's added an area for subtitles or something, but nothing comes up.
I tried an uninstall of the codec pack, but the blank spot remains! Every attempt to uninstall WMP and roll-baqck to earlier versions fails to get rid of this blank area.
It takes up about a thrid of the display area, so it really $uck$ when you try and watch something full screen.
any ideas guys? :S

some problem again while playing video. the video is muse can't take my eyes off you (bbc cover). the 1.45 can't play the video but 1.46 version cannot play well, cut in the middle track video.

Great codec pack!!!!
Is there any way to play DVDs on Windows Media Player with this codec pack?, Cause DVDs work pretty bad on Media Player Classic ( just like a slideshow ).
Anyway, it must be my crappy computer.

1.45 really $uck$. I can't hear the background music of xanga and the mpeg encoder hanged in Premiere immediately. It can't help even uninstall...What a mess!!

Quicktime alternative and K-Lite Mega Codec are not working for my QT movies!! I had to install quicktime standalone.

I think 1.44 is pretty good, thought during installation it said some codec is broken.(Nero) But overall, I think this is good. It updated QuickTime to v7 which can now view QuickTime format movie trailers. 1.38 included QuickTime v6.5

Since 1.4x release...from 1.40 up until 1.43...got same problem!
It's had alot of problem!
