The wait is finally over! PgcEdit, the go-to tool for advanced DVD editing, has just launched version 9.4, its first update since 2010.
This release brings a wealth of new features, major improvements, and critical bug fixes, making it a must-have for DVD enthusiasts and editors.
Key highlights include the introduction of dead command detection, with commands that can’t execute now highlighted in purple for easier identification.
Menu editing has seen significant upgrades, allowing simultaneous button position editing across all groups and automatic linking of buttons. Users can now export and convert button positions between PAL and NTSC formats seamlessly.
The PGC Editor also introduces several exciting features, such as importing VobSub index files and creating multiple cells from a VOB in one operation.
Improved color schemes now ensure better visibility for button highlights, while the new "Bookmarks" menu makes navigation faster and more efficient.
Trace Mode has been enhanced to distinguish between called and played PGCs with new color-coded highlights.
Navigation improvements in the Info menu now help users detect and fix invalid jumps with ease.
General improvements include fixes for foreign character support, better system compatibility, and a more polished user interface.
