zenosik: How can you do anything under Windows ME? It's very buggy.
Is anyone else getting Windows Explorer and Media Player crashes when reading the AVI DivX files?
Does anyone else have problems screen capturing in MPC? I get like "GetCurrentImage failed, hr = 80004001" errors. This was a .rm file.
Thank you in advance. :)
Is it me or does QTA not give a lot of bass?
Roy: I am having the same problem in v2.70 Full too. 2.69 and earlier were fine for MPEG-2 in Windows Media Players v6.4 and v9.0. Ugh! I think the newer Ligos thing is newer now that broke it. :(
namisman: Excellent tool. I had to use the other trick earlier: unregister shmedia.dll on http://www.click-now.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2009 ...
I like it. Thanks!
I still would like to know why K-Codec causes this.
Is anyone else having problems deleting AVI (DivX) files in Windows Explorer? They disappear and then come back. Trying to delete them again resulted access denied (even in command line). I have to kill Explorer or reboot to make the files vanish for good.
http://www .apple .com/ipod/ads/ crashes QuickTime Alternative in both IE6.0 SP2 and Mozilla v1.7.12. :(
http://www .apple .com/ipodnano/features.html seems to crashes Mozilla v1.7.11 in Windows XP Pro. SP2 (all updates). I get:
AppName: mozilla.exe AppVer: 1.7.20050.7270 ModName: quicktimeh264.qtx
ModVer: 18.104.22.168 Offset: 00012e40
I noticed http://www. apple .com/trailers/ has 720p and 1080p QuickTime 7 trailers now. I am hoping future QuickTime Alternative versions can play them after QT7 for Windows is released. I tried playing one, and got no video. Media Player Classic complained missing components.
