Very good but... the 5.3 version is buggy. It doesn't close correctly.

Nullsoft continues their painful downward spiral with the next installment in this series of bug fixes - if you think this is quality software, just look at how many "bugs" (eg, CODING ERRORS) have been fixed! The latest versions of winamp are slower, hog more memory, have a cludgey 'lagging' interface, and offer no addition features of any practical use than the last three versions did.

great program yeah, but since AOHell bought Nullsoft's winamp, the development stopped. And v5 became too bloated causing it to be not as fast and light-weight as v2.95

i can't play many aac files. i think i'm unable to play files that work before, always with winamp 5.21. anyone knows why? some video files doesn't work but i can see them with media player, why???

I would give 5, except by the Lite version doesn't be able to play WMA ...

winamp can't play "my .dat file " . When I use mouse to increase size of screen , Winamp "eat" 100CPU

5.2 is awful, needs javascript and IE for the shoutcast libary to work, a hackers delight
reminds me of v3.0 , except this 5.2 is the worst yet, also be warned the Shoutcast browser and online sections track everything you do by way of Omniture WebBugs and a unique ID assigned to your machine.
