CoreFLAC hasn't had support since 2004!
For better compatibility use madflac updated - 2011.

If you have trouble with this filter, when it crashes on seeking, consider disabling HyperThreading support for your Pentium 4 HT processor. It will still crash once in a while but much less often.

Obviously this is no solution for real dual core cpus.
