PlayFLV is a powerful tool making it possible to play FLV files in Windows Media Player.
With this plugin, you can watch downloaded Flash Video in the well-known media player included with the Windows operating system.

The application is completely free and open source and it uses a low amount of system resources.

Because PlayFLV creates file associations, you don’t need to worry about anything; FLV files will be open like any other video files, directly in Windows Media Player.

Moreover, you will enjoy the same playback options as with any other video file type: skipping, zooming and full screen among others.

In case you don’t manage to play FLV files in Windows Media Player, even if you have installed this plugin, try installing or re-installing FFDShow and seeing is FLV1 is checked in the configuration.
