Meta has introduced a powerful new feature in its Meta AI app, Meta.AI website, and the standalone Edits app - now you can apply generative AI video edits using preset prompts.
Users in the U.S. and over a dozen countries can upload short clips and experiment with more than 50 editing styles, from comic-book transformations and video-game lighting to dreamy, pearlescent effects - all free for 10-second previews.
The goal is to make high-quality video editing accessible even without prior expertise.
Later this year, Meta plans to enable custom text-prompted edits, offering creators full creative control.
Edited videos can be easily shared on Facebook, Instagram, and the Meta AI Discover feed.
