cdrtfe 1.5.9.1

cdrtfe was created as a win32 frontend for the well-known cdrtools (cdrecord, mkisofs, readcd, cdda2wav), Mode2CDMaker, VCDImager etc.

Apart from burning and creating ISO images, cdrtfe also allows you to erase rewritable discs and offers extensive information about the drives connected to your computer.

This application is easy to use and it has a plain interface; you will probably notice that functionality is more important than looks in cdrtfe.

cdrtfe portable version is available for download, ideal for users who want to run the program without installation.

cdrtfe is being constantly improved and its last versions benefit from changes such as the commandline option /img being used together with /load or the exe installer or having the possibility to handle a locked ShellExtension DLL when reinstalling, updating and uninstalling the application.

Changes to cdrtfe 1.5.9:

cdrtfe 1.5.9 includes updated command-line tools like cdrtools 3.02a10, FLAC 1.3.3, mpg123 1.29.1, Ogg Vorbis 1.4.2 (oggend, oggdec) and LAME 3.101 beta 2.

New features include a Turkish translation and discontinued support for older Windows versions (9x, ME, 2k).

Note that under Windows XP, functionality is limited, and mp3 encoding during digital audio extraction (DAE) is not supported.
