What is Icaros?
Icaros is a free set of Windows shell extensions from the developer Xanashi that gives File Explorer real thumbnails for video files it would otherwise show as blank icons, covering MKV, MP4, MOV, HEVC, AVIF and most things FFmpeg can open. It also fills in the details column with length, resolution and codec, and there is no paid version.
