TechSmith is hosting a free online event called "Unlocked 2025" on October 1st at 11 AM EDT, and they're showing off some pretty awesome updates to Camtasia, Snagit, and Audiate.
If you're into making videos or need good screen recording software, this one's for you.
AI is Making Everything Better
They're adding AI features across all their tools, which means less work for you and better-looking videos.
If you're a teacher, trainer, or just someone who makes a lot of videos, these updates sound pretty sweet.
Camtasia (their main video editing software) is getting single window recording, better integration with Rev, and a new light mode.
Plus, Snagit is expanding beyond just screenshots, and Audiate keeps getting better at handling audio.
The Cool AI Stuff
The biggest news? They're diving deep into AI with something called Camtasia.ai that turns images into videos.
It's still experimental, but it sounds like the future of video creation.
Bonus Learning Week
After the main event, they're doing daily webinars from October 6th-10th with tips and tricks to get more out of these tools.
Best part? It's totally free, and you get the recordings even if you can't make it live.
Perfect if you're busy but want to see what's new with these video tools.
