I Have tried to use other programs but to no avail. At the age of 76, I was about to give my DVD movies until I purchased Convertxtodvd4. My concerns are behind me and my DVD movies look and sound GREAT! Thank you from Gig Harbor, Washingon
Love this software ! i use it most to convert my camcorder videos to DVD, I couldn't find any other tool that supported my particular camcorder files...
so easy to use and great quality
it is a real good utility. with ConvertXtoDVD, you can easily convert to DVD format in a wide range of video formats. thanks for sharing. love the software
@Heartz119 - I experienced the same shutdown problem when using this program with my laptop. The problem is your laptop is overheating, you need to clean out the heatsink/fan assembly. It fixed it for me.
Still needs complete support for ass/ssa subtitles.
I don't know why my laptop shuts down during the process of converting the video with the sub. *sigh*
I am having issues with converting some of my .avi files to DVD. I don't know why, but evrytime I try to recode these certain .avi's to DVD. What is the best .avi codec to use to recode these particular .avi's so that they will be compatable with the ConvertXtoDVD program??? Thanks

An excellent converting program , The best there is out there compared to others.
Conversion was a little slower than I had expected, but a little over an hour for 2 gig with no monitoring was exceptable, but the fact that it was videos and didn't play them without prompt will exclude me from the purchase. Would probably work well with movies.
V 3.4.7.121
Great tool, but in this version the DV avi file from my Panasonic camcorder generate errors at convesion.
The program show 2 video streams and 2 or 3 audio streams in the original file and the conversion crash!
With the version 3.3.4.106, same file works OK.
I please the programmers to check this issue and fix it.
The DV file was transfered to PC with WinDV, on 1394 port of my computer.
Other software I used to convert same file shows correct informations (1 video and 1 audio streams), and like I said, the old version of CovertXtoDVD are showing correct streams information.
Thanks for analyzing this bug in the last version.

Really good software for converting any video file to DVD. I really like the subtitle management tool and the menu customization options. I highly recommend this software and the company, I had a problem once and contacted them and their support is quick and efficient
This is the BEST video converter in my opinion. I can put all my avi and flv files to DVD in just one click, it's quick, easy and efficient.
well done VSO Software !

Using ConvertXtoDVD version 3.1.3.40, after successful burn to DVD, disc is not automatically ejected. Option under Settings->Burning ("Do not eject disc...") is NOT checked.

Yeah, its great but it really should have support for .SUB subtitles. It says it does but it doesnt. Only .SRT subtitle format works on burned DVD.

the new version 3 is really nice, I love the boost of speed with my multi-core quad cpu.
the new DVD menu looks great, it is a good upgrade
Has a problem where burned in subtitles are below the visible part of the screen (4x3). Widescreen works well. 5.1 Audio isn't handled correctly, ends up favoring the left channel but does regular stereo just find. Really needs complete support for ASS/SSA files then it would be "Perfect" (note to Adi).
