SUPER 2022.80

Its most prominent feature is the versatile video encoding engine that can handle a wide range of audio and video formats, but there’s a lot more to discover about it.

The best thing is you don’t need to use external codecs in order to convert video files; SUPER is the only piece of software you have to install to your computer to switch from one format to another.

SUPER stands for Simplified Universal Player Encoder and Renderer and it uses these encoding tools: FFmpeg, MEncoder, MPlayer, x264, MusePack, Monkey's audio, Shorten audio, TAK audio, True audio, WavPack, the libavcodec library and the theora/vorbis RealProducer's plugIn. Some of the multimedia formats supported by SUPER are 3GP, AVI, WMV, MOV, AC3, MP3 and OGG.

In terms of functionality, SUPER works just great. The only thing that could be improved is its interface. SUPER’s GUI is not very appealing, but it won’t prevent you from doing your job, either.

The application is very fast and it offers many other features you would expect to find in a multimedia player and converter and even more:

• VP9 Video Codec full support, audio parameters configuration options, parsing internally optimized audio commands for optimal encoding results, advanced H.264 profile and level selection which are not available with other free software, batch processing, drag and drop file importing and multi-threaded encoding with auto CPU multi-core selection.

If you want to enjoy a reliable and constantly updated application for playing and converting your multimedia contents, SUPER is the right solution for you: a complete and powerful application that will allow you to handle your videos and music like a pro.

SUPER is trying to install third party content. However, you may continue the installation process without installing it. See some examples on the screenshots page.
