Fly Photos 2.5.2 Final

A blazing fast ultra-light photo viewer replacement for Windows. Fly Photos works similar to Picasa Photo Viewer.

Features of Fly Photos:

- Full Screen mode with transparent background like in Picasa Photo Viewer.
- Fast startup even for raw files with image size greater than 100 MB.
- Full Screen exit on pressing anywhere outside the image.
- Close on pressing escape key.
- Use < or > keys on screen or on keyboard to navigate between photos.
- Long press < or > to fly through all cached images on left and right. This makes using thumbnails redundant as traversal between photos is so fast.
- Fully in memory caching enhanced now with disk caching for previews.
- No files are opened in write mode. So your images are fully safe.
- Respects Windows Explorer sort order and filtering. For e.g, if we right click and open an image in the Recent Items view of explorer, the App shows only items in the recent items view. Likewise, if we have filtered images using explorer search-filter and open one image, navigation moves through only the filtered list.
- Thumbnail strip as in Picasa photo viewer.

Zoom Animation on File Open & App Exit
A new zoom-in/zoom-out animation is available when opening a file and when exiting the application. By default, this feature is off - you can enable it in Settings.
GIF Support – Now Built-In
Fly can now open and play .gif files with smooth, automatic playback. Whether it's memes, short clips, or classic web animations, GIF support is fully implemented from scratch. Please help by testing with a wide variety of GIFs to ensure compatibility.
APNG Support – High-Fidelity Animation
Fly now supports Animated PNGs (APNG), which use the standard .png extension but contain multiple frames and support full alpha transparency. This APNG implementation follows the official Mozilla APNG Specification and is built entirely from scratch. Please test with different APNG files. Few photo viewers outside of browsers support this format!
Smooth Fit-to-Screen Animation
The "Fit to Screen" button now animates the image smoothly to its final position, creating a more polished viewing experience. This is the first step toward a more dynamic viewer experience - including future plans for startup and exit animations inspired by the Picasa viewer.
