This tool is DirectShow compatible and it is designed for those who use Windows Media Player or similar applications.

The media formats supported by Elecard MPEG-2 Video Decoder Pack are MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 (video formats), and a variety of audio formats: MPEG-1 Layer I, II and III, MPEG-2, the unofficial MPEG-2.5 format and LPCM.

The Elecard MPEG-2 Video Decoder Pack offers software-only stream decoding for MPEG-2 and MPEG-1 and it is designed to use system resources in an optimal way (it uses MMX™, SSE™, SSE2™, and 3DNow® extensions).

The CPU usage is substantially reduced with this codec and stunning performance is ensured on high-end PCs. Its interface allows you to easily adjust decoding quality and frame capture.

With this codec pack you will enjoy high definition video encoding and full-resolution, full-quality decoding and playback. The Elecard video decoder is optimized for Hyper-Threading Technology, dual core and SMP systems and it offers DXVA hardware acceleration support.

This application is also known as DVD decoder and it can process DVD Subpicture and Closed Captions (DVD, ATSC. DVS157, C-Cube, SCTE).

As a stream decoding application, Elecard MPEG-2 Video Decoder Pack is able to receive data from the network under the form of RTP and UDP packets. The filter graph is provided with stream data contained in these packets. Your computer will be able to send various requests to the server, such as starting, stopping, pausing or positioning in the stream.

Elecard MPEG-2 Video Decoder Pack is a complex tool which will allow you to play your favorite videos error-free.

At the same time, you will be provided with the best image quality using the smallest amount of resources possible.

Yes I installed this to play an UMD iso video (.MPS extension, it says MPEG MEDIA)
The video's working now, but there's still no sound!
I hope for the future improvement.

how you can see these Codecpack not support many AUDIO CODECS! so plz use mediainfo for checking audio and video codec requirements!
