Nero WMA Plug-in adds WMA decoding support within the various versions of Nero (Nero, Nero Express, NeroMIX).
It is a plugin for Nero and obviously it can only be used if you have a version of NERO installed on your computer.
The WMA codec was originally built to compete with the MP3 format and fix its flaws.
WMA takes advantage of the fact that the human ear cannot perceive certain sounds and compresses those sounds at a smaller resolution in order to save storage place.
WMA files are suitable for mobile devices, DVD players and music streaming services.
Once you install this plugin on your computer, Nero will become able to process audio streams using WMA files and it will enjoy overall support for WMA files.
