With this plugin, you can browse and organize songs of various formats, besides MP3 and WMA, directly in the library.

The file formats supported by WMP Tag Plus are OGG, APE, FLAC, WavPack, Musepack and MPEG-4.

Once you have installed WMP Tag Plus to your computer, the music files of the previous formats and their tags are displayed in the media library.

You can also edit tags using the Advanced Tag Editor via the library interface and the changes will be made to files, too.

The most important advantage of WMP Tag Plus over other similar applications is being actively supported and up-to-date; it is the only tag manager and editor fully compatible with the latest versions of Windows Media Player.

Also, you can perform seeking during playback of newly supported formats, a feature that similar software doesn’t have.

Each new version is being improved and any problems reported by users are fixed.

WMP Tag Plus has been developed for Windows Media Player 11 and higher. What WMP Tag Plus doesn’t do is ensuring playback support, so if you want to listen to music in other formats than those natively supported by Windows Media Player (MP3 and WMA).

You need to install various filters and codecs (the Xiph.org DirectShow filters for FLAC and Vorbis; Haali Matroska Splitter and FFDShow for MPEG4 and CoreWavPack for WavPack).

WMP Tag Plus is a must for anyone interested in organizing and editing tags for other types of audio formats than MP3 and WMA; this plugin is up-to-date, fully compatible and undergoing constant improvements.
