Alcoholer 4.1
Alcoholer is a combination between ClonyXXL and Alcohol 120% and it helps you remove copy protection in order to create backups of your favorite DVDs.
Other utilities whose features have been included by the developers of Alcoholer are CloneCD and BlindWrite.
The Alcoholer installing package does not deploy all those components to your computer; you have to install them separately to enjoy their features.
Each tool that Alcoholer works with has its well-defined role. BlindWrite enables you to reproduce CDs; ClonyXXL identifies the protection type; Alcohol 120% burns and emulates DVDs.
Each component can be accessed from a different tab, and one of the tabs is dedicated to GameJack, for game copies. No matter what application you are using, you are required to select the profile (data CD, audio CD or DVD) and to choose between several editing options.
The biggest disadvantage of this application is it has not been updated anymore for a long time, so it may not work with the latest CD or DVD types.
