Since the latest versions forced ad pop us at closing, I just removed and reinstalled old version, free of that bullnuts! And it works nicely...
However, as some have mentioned, despite the many nice things Gom has to offer, nowadays, there are better players out there, ads free and without "codec missing" excuses and the alike!

I'm torn with this player. Love the ease of use and it usually doesn't have to many errors but the nagging compressed mkv audio issue has really just gotten on my last nerve. Can't one of your programmers tweak this issue. I get a lot of files compressing mkv and this player has no audio for them.
What's the use of any player if you need another player to offset all the things another player won't do. VLC plays everything (ugly as hell though).

Does anyone know why Gom Player plays some of my MP3 files but not all of them.
I cant tell what the difference between the files coz all of then looks exactly the same type of MP3, but some of them when i double-click to play show me the message "You don't have the necessary codec to play".
Can anyone help me please???
My windows is Vista Home Premium.
Tks.
