Howdy, I downloaded and installed the file without a problem. Thank you to the folks who shared their info on doing it.If someone wants to learn how to do stuff, postings like this can help. What's the point of telling folks what dumb-asses they are.

I've read everyone's "how to install" and it's got me a lot further than the original instructions but when I try to use the install option, I get a big "Install Disk" prompt stating that I need to insert disk labeled "Voxware Compression Toolkit Install".
Could someone please help me without telling me what a complete "dumbass" that I already know that I am?

I extracted the files,but I don't see voxacm.inf anywhere,and it's not hidden either!!!

I did this...I downloaded the file to my desktop. i then created a "new folder" on my desktop. That's the file that i'm going to extract to. I right clicked on the "vox" folder and extracted all files to the "new folder." I then opened up the new folder until i see all the files. T H E N...THEN...i right click on the "voxacm" file. Install finally pops up...and i selected install. Finally got this thing to work. Good luck guys! I think I got this post from droop, I can't find it now but whoever posted this, I want to thank you! I did exactly what you said on my XP and had no prob at all!!! Copy and paste these instuctions to you notepad so you will have it when you need it.

wouldn't install on XP using voxacm.inf(right click-install)kept getting error. I decided to extract files(not folder)to system 32 folder using WinRAR,works great immediately.

I think the problem most are having is that when they open the voxacm.inf file all they see is a text file with alot of confusing info.
The "install" button is not part of the text file it is under the "File" tab at the top of the window where you see File, Edit, View, Favorites, Toolos and Help. Click on File then choose install.

05 de enero de 2006, revisado por: Jim Brewer# 43 Creo que el problema ms estn teniendo es que cuando se abra el archivo voxacm.inf todo lo que ven es un archivo de texto con un montn de informacin confusa.
El botn instalar no forma parte del archivo de texto que se encuentra bajo la pestaa Archivo en la parte superior de la ventana donde se ve Archivo, Edicin, Ver, Favoritos, Toolos y ayuda. Haga clic en Archivo y luego seleccione instalar.
