These codecs suck. I installed all of them, and still got errors when playing back AVI files in Windows Media Player.
I downloaded FFDShow 1280 and installed with all the codecs, no errors at all. Plus, the files were much more responsive. FFDShow's all you need to play audio and video.
Forget all the other sluggish and buggy codecs.

ok Brilliant codec set, had a number of files that were lacking sound. Installed this and hey presto, they all worked.

from version 8.3d to 8.3f /verysilent install doesn't work. :-(

Good pack, no extra apps or other cruft I don't want. I wish it included FFDShow.

very good codec pack! everything works well, all video files are working independently upon chosen player. good work! p.s. uninstall norton/symantec stuff, its useless. download avg free! :)
