Elisa 0.5.37

Elisa’s development has been discontinued and the application has been replaced by Moovida, where numerous bugs have been fixed.

A major advantage of this media player is that you can watch movies immediately after installing the application, as there is no need for codecs and other third-party software.
Besides a media player, Elisa is also a file management application.

It scans your local disc for media files and it displays all of them in an organized manner.

Streaming media or files from external devices, such as DVD, VCD, or iPod is included as well.

When it comes to pictures, Elisa can display them as a slideshow. Switching between video, audio, and image options is very easy due to the program’s intuitive interface.

Even if you are not an experienced user, you will find the main options of the application immediately.

The functionality of Elisa has been extended with the help of plugins; additional actions you can perform due to these plugins are logging into flickr accounts, watching YouTube videos or listening to music on radio stations.

Elisa offers multiple advantages compared to your average media player: it supports movies, music and pictures; it scans peripheral devices and it is fully networked, as it finds media from other computers on your local network or on the Internet.

Elisa is the perfect choice for anyone looking for a complete multimedia workstation, allowing them to manage all types of media found on their computers or on networks.
