Hi to everyone, I have a BIG problem with K-lite Codec Pack since version 2.73, the very previous version(2.72)work fine in my VERY OLD PC (AMD K6-2 500Mhz, 128Mb, WinXP-SP2), but newbies version have a problem ,I can┬┤t play anything using the FFDSHOW (the MSPLAYER & Media Classic crash!!) , I downloaded the newer version of FFDSHOw and obtain the same problem,the problem is too many compilation using diferents instructions set(SSE,MMx etc) and not compatible with AMD┬┤s CPUs

I've tried a few and this one is the one i will continue to use.
Updated frequently is very nice.

I tried installing the K-lite Codec Pack, but somehow it can't seem to. At the end, there was a missing d3d9.dll message. When I got it from the internet, it gave me another message. Can anybody help? What should I do?

I used to use ACE Mega Codecs Pack 6.03, but now I am using the K-lite, cos the former stopped updating since 2004. Two years ago, ACE is the greatest, today, I think, K-lite takes the place.

This program $uck$! No option to choose the codec to install? I have divx create and in order to use this at all need to Uninstall it????

Ok, something weird happening. I've been using k-lite codec pack forever. All my previous computers used with no probs. i now have a new dell laptop and it wont play any downloaded vids. Tried standard followed by full then the update pack. Using VLC, and nothing. Media Player Classic reports ' Cannot render file'. I'm still giving the pac 5* cos there's something wrong and it's my fault. Any ideas?

Is anyone else getting Windows Explorer and Media Player crashes when reading the AVI DivX files?

the update (061306) really fixed a lot of things like both audio playing at the same time for matroska and ogm files. the subtitles work fine now as well

however, it still needs some work. ogm files still play very fast but will return to normal if you change any setting like audio,video,subtitle etc. though once you change a setting the audio disappears

Now that i installed it i can watch some videos that i couldnt before. But for some reason there are certain videos that play perfectly in WMP but when i play them in Winamp the image is upside-down and mirror-image. Can anyone help solve this problem?
