after long time that i'm fighting with codecs/codecs packs and smart codec doctors i have found the ultimate codecs pack.
i'm using vista home primium in hp pavilion tx2000 and my wmp is playing everything that i try to play.
avi,mov,rm,flv,mp4,mp4HD,rmv i dont need more than that.
i convert some videos and as i say allso everything is great.
i am so amazed from that codecs pack that i must say that this is much,much,much better then k-lite/full/mega or standart edition.

GREAT CODEC PACKAGE.
Problems that I reported earlier with 5.1.0 and 5.1.1 ... actually there was NO PROBLEM ... the program is just too metaculous ... so it was trying to clean up my individually installed mess of Codecs.
Anyway ... Shark007, author of "Vista Codec Pack" ... Continues to produce an Exceptional Codec Pacakge ... and continually updates it and adds great tools to it. Also, Shark007 provides Great Support on his Forum answering questions.
I am giving this Codec Pack a 10 out of 10. G!:)

I tried installing "Vista Codec Pack 5.1.0 & 5.1.1" on my laptop that has Vista Home Premium, SP1, 64-Bit... installation CRASHED several times and my CPU Fan kicks-in high ... installation stops at about 50% for no apparent reason!
So, this Codec Pack is NO GOOD to me!

It works quite well, EXCEPT for certain (but not all) flv files.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Absolutely awesome! I was having a hard time viewing certain movies. Now I have no problems at all, everything works perfectly! Thanks a ton.

Just Purchased a new Dell Inspiron computer that was manufactured in September 2008. l have a great deal of Mp4 files that the windows media player wont play.
Will this Vista codec package allow me to view these files or should l rather install the FFD Show Mpeg4 download from this site.?

v473 kicks ass. Thanks so much for allowing me to download this package. OGG files play fine in wmp11. Now it's time to go on a downloading spree. (BcD)
