MP3 Parser DirectShow Filter analyzes MP3 data from an asynchronous source such as Async File Source Filter and it enables connection to an MP3 decoder filter.
This small-sized application allows you to manage VBR MP3 files and to find the correct VBR MP3 file duration.
Additionally, you can parse MP3 files with non-MP3 data such as ID3/APE tags.
This filter is a better option than the standard MPEG-I Stream Splitter Filter, which provides incorrect VBR MP3 file duration.
It also fails to open MP3 files which contain non-MP3 data because it cannot recognize them.
