VisualSubSync Enhanced 1.2.33

5 from 1 Reviews

VisualSubSync allows you to create, edit and synchronize subtitles. By using this program, anyone can see the subtitle timestamp breakdowns and submit corrections.

Besides installing this application to your system, you may also need to deploy another piece of software to your computer, VobSub.

This way you will be able to see subtitles in the video preview mode. What you have to do is to go to the VobSub Misc properties page and check the Auto-reload subtitle file after detecting modification.

Additionally, the subtitles file needs to be named the same way as the video. Each time you want to see the last changes, save your file.

The subtitle formats supported by VisualSubSync are SRT, SSA and ASS, and they can be saved as different file formats (SRT, CUE, CSV, TXT, ASS and SSA). The format of the projects is VSSPRJ and you can export subtitles as WAV files, too.

VisualSubSync has a well-organized interface, and it includes a menu bar, a waveform, various buttons and boxes and a panel where subtitles are displayed. Playback is also ensured, and you can play, pause, stop, loop or load the next subtitle.

Other options available are zooming in and out of the waveform, merging dialogues, delaying lines, changing subtitle style, creating karaoke and showing silent zones.

A precaution you need to take is making sure you have enough disc space when you extract WAV because the application is not able yet to check this.

VisualSubSync runs on all Windows versions, it is lightweight and easy to install. This application provides one of the simplest ways to create, edit and synchronize subtitles. It is suitable for all categories of users, no matter how experienced they are.

Excellent program, the waveform display makes it very easy to time and synchronize the subtitle.
If there is one thing I would wish for, it would be preview support for .mkv files.
