Fair codec pack. Could use some work on the conflicts and perhaps come up with a more comprehensive and intuitive dashboard. It ruined my system twice before i figured out what the problem was, so buggy - yes, but worth the effort. Keep on developing, boys.

what can i say, i c alot of ppl are dissapointed over the pack. but one thing i have noticed. dont have a bounch of players before u install this pack. many will get errors. but if u install them after u install this pack NO PROBLEMO!!
many complains about there is 2 many codecs and filters. if u miss 1 codec dont bother downloading this. i have used it 4 quite some while and have installed it on all the comps my famili have. no prbolems. the reason i have it, i hate downloading a file and dont be able 2 open it. you can even open music from cd on pc games.... best codec that is, if you want pandoras box, its right before you!!

it works fine plays the files I couldnt play before BUT....
NOW IT FREEZES UP MY NERO VISION EXPRESS 2 OR 3 EVERYTIME I TRY TO MAKE A SVCD OR DVD. and I have not found a soulution yet other to uninstall it. anybody know anything that would help ??
IT also has alot of codecs that I have no clue if I need them or not and disables alot that I dont know if I should or not. SOME KIND OF GUIDE BESIDES THE VERY BASIC ONE WOULD BE NICE.

Programs like Adobe Premiere and others don't work if you install this stupid bulk of codecs. The so called 'ace mega codecs pack' is bugged and causes most video applications to fail at startup.

Tested and works fine,
except for one thing, it crashes explorer if i click on some video files(especially the ones frm a digicam) and brings up the Data Execution Prevention thing up
btw has anyone tested if this works with windows Vista

I like this pack too much, but i would like to ask if somone can help me to decompile it (unpack the Innosetup) there is an encryption, i want to make some modification to it to avoid some problems with some computers on wich i want to install it.

Missed my system up something awful.
All I want to know is how do I uninstall it?
All i get is this error message:"list index out of bounds" and it wont uninstall either. Any idea?

IT WAS A NICE PACK TO FINALLY SEE SOMTHING THAT HAD EVERYHTING IN ONE AND NOT HAVE TO MONEY AROUND WITH 3 OR 4 OTHER PROGRAMS. THER IS A BUT THOUGH, IT DOES HAVE ISSUES UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING AND THE DASHBOARD HANGS WITCH MAKES IT VERY HARD TO WORK WITH AND MAKE IT MORE CUSTOM TO WHAT YOU NEED. I HAVE WORKED WITH ALL CoDecS BEFORE AND THIS MAKES IT NICE JUST HAS A LOT OF LIL ISSUE TO FIX.

after installing fireworks 8 stopped working. uninstalling codec pack and fw works again. i wonder why.

This package is fking awsome! had video playback problems with this and my previous computer and have spend Alot of time to solve it, when I solved one problem another popped up instead, but with this package, all problems solves everything instantly, just install and play :)

I like this pack so far, i installed the pro version and it works fine, all you gotta do is uncheck whatever stuff u dont need. So far it plays all my videos and music flawlessly.for all u who like complaining get a cardboard box and hide under it to keep you safe from whatever you cant understand :)

I noticed a few people are having problems with quicktime after installing this pack, just uninstall it, re-install itunes/quicktime, then reinstall the codec pack but uncheck on the list of codecs the 1 that says quicktime, you cant miss it, its about 20mb on the list.

Not a good codec program...
This simply isnt worth the download, not only is the pack extremely large but it can't play a lot of my files that I could when running the k-lite pack. I ended up installing another codec pack ontop of this to keep running my other files. Also the uninstall didn't complete properly so I have to remove a lot of files manually.
Perhaps if this codec pack consists of codecs that you need not offered elsewhere it'd be worth the download otherwise there are better alternatives out there.
