SmartFFmpeg was created in order to offer users an intuitive graphic interface and other benefits, such as predefined presets.
SmartFFmpeg was designed with easiness of use in mind and the main jobs it can do are extracting audio tracks from videos, converting audios to MP3s, and converting videos for mobile devices.
With SmartFFmpeg not only you don’t have to learn parameters by heart anymore or look them up all the time, but your work becomes easier due to a series of presets: video conversion for mobile phones (3GP, H263 and H264), Flash Video, PSP, and DVD; video conversion to AVI; audio conversion to MP3, AC3 and WAV and extraction of audio tracks such as AC3, AAC and MP3.
Besides conversion using presets, other features of SmartFFmpeg are the drag and drop file importing method, the Internet update check on startup, the preconfiguration of the output filename and of the output file extension, and selectable process priority for ffmpeg.exe.
Furthermore, SmartFFmpeg ensures generalization by applying current settings to each new tasks and individualization by providing different settings for each task.
In order to use SmartFFmpeg, you also need to install to your computer Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and FFmpeg 4.0.2.
Unpack ffmpeg to a folder and select the ffmpeg.exe file in the SmartFFmpeg Options menu.
Lightweight and easy to use, SmartFFmpeg is an excellent choice for average users who want to enjoy the features of ffmpeg and work in a graphical user interface at the same time.
ffmpeg is a powerful tool, but its command-line interface may deter average users.
